Moving forward, and as part of the Group’s expansion plan, in 2008 Tambun Indah Group has commenced development in Pearl City on the freehold land strategically located at the Southern District of mainland Penang with proximity to key landmarks, and has excellent connectivity to major towns. Currently, Palmington Sdn Bhd and Tambun Indah Development Sdn Bhd, the subsidiary companies of Tambun Indah Group, are responsible for the development projects.

The completion of the upgrading and widening works at the old federal road will improve connectivity from the township to the locales in Bukit Mertajam.

Future developments of the business park include a proposed sports complex, proposed medical centre and, more F&B outlets in Pearl City Mall Phase 2.
